During the Holiday season the rent would be $4990 with a one week minimum.

Another example of a Kauai rental home is located on the east side of Kauai, in Kapaa, and rents for between $300 and $500 a night depending on the season. This home has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The views are spectacular with the river to the north and Waipouli Beach and the ocean to the east. Kauai home rentals vary in price from $200 a night all the way up to $4,200 per night.

Owning a Kauai home, for many, is a dream. As more and more people fulfill that dream Kauai homes continue to rise in value. A home located on the North Shore of Kauai can cost between $400,000 - $46,500,000. This huge price range reflects the differences in the homes available. On the lower end of the price spectrum are what are generally called starter homes. Some of these homes only have 500 square feet of living space and are called cottage-style. Some Kauai homes in this price range may have a mountain view but almost never an ocean view.

On the high end of the price range are the luxury estates. These homes are set on many acres of land and have spectacular views. The main house has 15,000 square feet and the property includes two guest bungalows of 4,000 square feet each.

Kauai homes on the North Shore, priced at the average of $1,300,000, generally have beautiful inland views of mountains, waterfalls, pastures or forests. Three bedroom homes are the most common in this price range. Some may include air conditioning or a garage. For example, a Kauai home listed for $1,350,000 has three bedrooms and three baths. The house has 2,600 square feet.
